After we’ve discussed design, you will receive a personalized design package by mail with swatches and sketch options.

There is an initial consultation fee of $250 to hold availability and cover shipping/swatches.

Once you receive options, we’ll have a call to discuss everything. Ideas will evolve, fun will be had, and at this point is when all the pieces start falling together through sketch edits and zeroing in on fabric choices.

Initial measurements will be taken prior to beginning work, however there will be a second run of measurements taken before the dress is finished ¾ of the way to make any necessary adjustments.

Alterations to a custom dress are not always necessary, but it’s better to air on the possibility of minor adjustments in order to gauge timeline appropriately and have the option to finely tune your dress once it comes in.

Minor alterations can be done at local tailor, through in-person fittings at the HOD studio (if possible), or you can request a travel fit with us.

Rush options are available.

A custom dress or capsule take about 4 months on average to make but can take up to 8 months. Ultimate delivery time will depend on what we’re making together and how much time we have.
